
Mind OC Welcomes Three New Board Members to Advance Be Well OC’s Behavioral Health Work in Orange County
Irvine, CA. (March 6, 2025) – Mind OC today announced three new members have joined its Board of Directors, enhancing its public advocacy and leadership acumen as the steward of Be Well OC’s behavioral health efforts for all residents of Orange County.
Rachel Selleck, MPP is a seasoned health care executive with more than a decade of public affairs and operational experience in the healthcare industry. Rachel currently serves as Providence Health System’s Chief Government Affairs Officer for their California footprint, which encompasses 17 hospitals and approximately 44,000 caregivers across an expansive geographic region. She previously served in various executive capacities at CalOptima Health, the Orange County Health Department and John Wayne Airport. She has a master’s degree in Public Policy, with emphasis in American Politics and State and Local Policy, from Pepperdine University, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Political Science with a minor in Conflict Resolution.
Terry Walker helmed the Irvine Unified School District as its superintendent from 2011 until his recent retirement in January 2025. He served as a teacher, director and assistant superintendent of human resources in Irvine before being appointed to the district’s top administrator role. Under his leadership, IUSD built on its reputation as one of California’s highest-performing school districts, serving more than 38,000 students with the support of 4,000 staff members. He has a master’s degree in Education Administration Leadership from Pepperdine University and a master’s degree in Educational Technology Leadership from the University of California, Irvine. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Susan Taylor, Esq. is a healthcare and business attorney who served as General Counsel and CEO at College Hospital in Costa Mesa for more than 16 years. She received a law degree and certificate in dispute resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in the State of California and the State of Nevada. She also obtained a certificate in Healthcare Executive Administration from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management. In addition to her law practice, she is an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. Previous affiliations include roles on the Board of Directors for both the California Hospital Association and the Hospital Association of Southern California, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
